ALBANY, N.Y. -- An early morning house fire in Albany has fire crews investigating at 320 Quail Street. Officials said the call came in just after 4 a.m. Saturday.
Fire officials said they were able to rescue a woman from her bedroom on the second floor of this home. They said the fire may have started on the home's back porch, where the extent of the damage is.
Crews tell us the woman was the only one living in the building with animals including dogs, cats and gerbils. They say there's been no injuries, and that most of the animals made it out safe.
