NORTH GREENBUSH, N.Y. -- A man has been arrested for DWI after police say he hit a man with his plow truck in North Greenbush. It happened around 8 p.m. on Route 4 near the Cumberland Farms Gas Station.

Officers say Benjamin Bornhorst, 27, was driving a northbound on Route 4 when he hit someone walking northbound.

"The victim was hit in the back. Most likely did not see it coming. After crews arrived, the driver left the scene. Crews had a description of the vehicle and they caught up with the vehicle a few miles down the road with no problems at all," said North Greenbush Police Chief Rocco Fragomeni.

The victim, whose name is not being released at this time, is at Albany Med with non life threatening injuries.

Bornhorst was arraigned shortly after his arrest on DWI charges.
