Man dies on way to wife's wake
CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. -- A Cambridge man died on his way to his wife's wake. A director at the funeral home where it happened says 94-year-old Norman Hendrickson passed away on Saturday in the passenger seat of a limousine.
Norm's body was then placed in a casket next to his wife, Gwendoline. Family and friends then paid respects to them both.
The World War II veteran met his wife, Gwendoline, overseas while she was serving in the British Royal Air Force.
When Gwendoline died February 8th, Norman told her he would see her soon. Family members say he kept his promise.
