Woman arrested on animal abuse charges
GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. -- Police have arrested a Gloversville woman they say neglected her dog so bad, it had a number of medical conditions.
Police say they responded to a report of a loose dog. They say the dog belonged to Karen Brown, 45. The dog was suffering from an eye infection, two severe ear infections and a skin infection, which caused the dog's hair to fall out.
Brown was arrested and charged with several animal abuse related charges. She'll be back in court later this month.
