ALBANY, N.Y. -- An Albany man was taken to the hospital following a stabbing in the city. Police say a 51-year-old man got into an altercation with another man on South Pearl Street around 10:15 p.m. Thursday. They say the two did know each other.

The victim was stabbed in the stomach and is listed in stable condition.
