WORCESTER, Mass. -- It isn't every day that the National Guard is called in to help deliver a baby. But that's just what they had to do early Saturday morning in Massachusetts.
Ericka Bueno went into labor during the snowstorm, in the midst of a statewide travel ban. Between the steep hill to Bueno's home and the snowy roads, EMTs couldn't get to her. So the National Guard was called in. They had to use snow plows and a Humvee to get the EMTs to Beuno's house. Once there, they helped deliver a healthy baby.
