TROY, N.Y. -- There's a new place to grab a bite to eat in downtown Troy. The Broadway Café celebrates its grand opening Tuesday.

The owner says she is eager to get to work.

"This is a very special time for us. We've been working very hard for many months to open this place and this is pretty much the beginning for us," owner Christine Carpinello said.

The cafe took the place of Leahy's Café, which closed after the owner retired.
