ALBANY, N.Y. -- Less than two weeks after Governor Cuomo signed the New York Safe Act into law, gun show vendors are setting up for this weekend's Albany gun show.

Thousands of gun enthusiasts will be at the Convention Center to purchase, sell, and browse both new and old firearms over the weekend. Over 400 exhibits and displays will be provided by collectors and dealers from all over the northeastern United States and Canada.

Under the law, there are restrictions on the sale of guns and certain types of ammunition.

A gun show was held earlier this month in Saratoga Springs, but not without controversy. Many people protested, saying the show shouldn't take place after the Newtown, Connecticut shooting. Despite the contention, organizers say a record number of people attended the event.

The Albany gun show runs Saturday and Sunday.
