Man charged with attempted murder
ALBANY, N.Y. -- An Albany man is facing charges after police say he fired a handgun inside a convenience store.
Police say on January 17th, Darrell Heggins, 48, walked inside the Stadium Deli and Grocery on Ontario Street and approached the counter. They say he caused a commotion, showed a gun, and fired one shot at two employees.
No one was hurt.
Heggins is charged with two counts of second degree attempted murder.
