MASSACHUSETTS -- The latest numbers suggest the Massachusetts housing market is well on its way to recovery.

According to the Boston-based Warren Group, the median price for a single family home is up more than 10 percent compared to the same time last year.

The average cost of a home rose last month to $300,000, the highest since August, and the highest price the month of December saw since 2007.
