BRUNSWICK, N.Y. -- A Brunwick home was damaged by fire Monday morning.

Fire crews responded to several calls for a house fire at 145 Brunswick Road. When they arrived, firefighters say flames were shooting through the roof.

Crews say they believe the fire started in an upstairs bedroom and spread.

The fire chief tells us not only was this considered a stubborn fire, but he had to rotate crews in and out of the house because of the cold weather.

A family of four lived in the home, but no one was injured. There is significant damage to the second floor as well as the attic.

There is no word yet on a cause.
