KINGSTON, N.Y. -- A Kingston man was arrested following the disappearance of a 12-year-old girl. Police in Kingston say they received a report of a girl missing at her middle school bus stop Friday morning.

According to witnesses a blue car approached the girl, and drove away with her shortly after. The victim was located about an hour later.

Kingston Police say further investigation lead to the arrest of Evodio Martinez-Lobato, 27. He is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was released. Martinez-Lobato is scheduled to reappear next week in Kingston City Court.
