NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. -- Two students from the Cornwall Central School District were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a school bus was involved in an accident Friday afternoon. It happened around 3 p.m. on Route 94 and Forge Hill.

According to the district superintendent Tim Rehm the bus carrying 17 students was side-swiped by a commercial truck.

Rehm says school staff, including the school nurse, were on site to check on each student. No one else on the bus was injured.

The exact cause is not yet known.
