ALBANY, N.Y. -- State Police say a driver heading the wrong way was found with a large amount of cocaine.

State Police say Dayarree Pettiway, 31, of Albany, was driving northbound in the southbound lane of State Route 9W in the City of Albany around 10 p.m. Wednesday. They say they found one-and-a-half pounds of cocaine and a small amount of marijuana on Pettiway when they pulled him over.

Pettiway was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance and sent to Albany County Jail without bail.
