NEW YORK -- State Senator Terry Gipson, a Hudson Valley lawmaker recently elected to represent the region, was in attendance at Wednesday’s State of the State address. Gipson, who beat out long-time state Senator Steve Saland for the 41st Senate District, says he's excited about Cuomo's plans for education reform, and campaign finance reform.
“I really want to see us come up with some campaign finance reform rules that make it possible for more people like me to be elected. And I'm very optimistic about the proposal that the governor presented today will make that happen and I look forward to working with him on that,” said Terry Gipson, (D) 41st Senate District.
