Two separate armed robberies in Troy
TROY, NY. -- Troy police are investigating two separate armed robberies that they say happened an hour apart Tuesday night.
Police say a woman was walking on Adams Street around 10 p.m. Tuesday when two armed men approached her and demanded money. Police say the men took cash and the victim's cell phone. She was also hit in the head and face but declined any medical attention.
Troy police say one hour later, a man reported three men forced their way into his apartment and fired one shot at the victim. The men then took off. That victim was taken to Albany Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
