HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. -- The Hudson Falls Police Department is hosting an event tonight for burglary victims to identify more than 30,000 pieces of stolen jewelry and silver.

Hudson Falls police chief Randy Diamond says only burglary victims from Saratoga, Warren, and Washington counties who can show they were burglarized will be allowed to review the items.

The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Hudson Falls High School.

State police have arrested John Suddard of Fort Edward in connection with the case. Police say he spent the past five years breaking into homes. He allegedly started burglarizing right after being released from prison on a 10 year burglary sentence.
