TROY, N.Y. -- The Troy teen accused of killing her father has been denied bail.

Police say Trinity Copeland shot and killed her father in July. Police say they were called to 3022 Seventh Ave and found Harlan Copeland, 47, dead inside his first floor apartment.

Investigators say it was Trinity Copeland who called police. Police say she told them she went to his house to clear up an argument over his ATM card and then admitted to shooting him because he told her to.

Copeland has been charged with second degree murder and first degree manslaughter.
