High schools in the Capital Region are all on winter break, but many basketball teams still in action for some holiday tournaments this week.
The Colonie girls hosted a holiday tournament Wednesday night taking on Scotia. The Garnet Raiders beat Scotia by a final of 51-41.
In the other game of the tournament, the Warriors of Averill Park took on Catholic Central. Catholic Central beat Averill Park 55-41.
