SAUGERTIES, N.Y. -- A Saugerties man has been arrested after police say he was driving with a BAC more than twice the legal limit.

Police say they stopped a vehicle on Lafayette Street after noticing the driver had made several traffic violations around 1 a.m. Saturday. According to police, the driver, Scott Vanderbeck, 58, had a BAC of .18. They say he also had marijuana on him.

Vanderbeck faces numerous charges, including DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was arrested and released and is due back in court on January 7th.
