ULSTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The sixth annual Winter Wonderland Parade brought thousands of people to Port Ewen.

Saturday night’s parade featured local organizations, fire departments and decorated floats. Even Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance!

Event organizer Kathryn Robinson says the parade helps to lift people's spirits during the holiday season.

The parade was followed by Christmas carols from the Kingston Catholic Choir.

A hat and mitten drive was also held to benefit local schools and the battered women and children of Kingston.
