Man pleads guilty to burglary
ULSTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Ulster County man pleaded guilty to burglarizing a home in Connelly. The Ulster County District Attorney's Office says in September of last year, a man returned home to find his bedroom window broken and property missing. They say the man's elderly mother, who was sleeping in a nearby room, was unharmed.
DNA testing of blood recovered from the broken window led to the arrest of Christopher Rion. The District Attorney's Office says Rion has a prior conviction of burglary from 2008.
He will be sentenced to nine years in state prison next April.
