ALBANY, N.Y. -- The puppies found injured by railroad tracks in Albany will be going to their new home Wednesday.

Back in September, workers found three puppies abandoned and abused on the railroad tracks at North Pearl Street. The puppies were brought to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, where one later died from its injuries.

One pup, named Hudson, received prosthetic paw. His paw was completely severed. His sister, Pearl, was also found abandoned and abused.

So far, there have been no arrests.

A $7,000 reward is still being offered for any information on who mutilated and abandoned the puppies. Anyone with information is asked to call the Albany Police Department at 462-8039.
