COLONIE, N.Y. -- A man is recovering after Colonie Police say he was shot.

The shooting happened in a parking lot at the corner of Central Avenue and Marjorie Road around 8:30 p.m. Friday. Police shut down Marjorie Road for about an hour.

Police tell us the victim, who has yet to be identified, was taken to Albany Medical. There isno word yet on the extent of his injuries.
