ALBANY, N.Y. -- A memorial is held for the victim of a deadly stabbing in Albany.

Family members and friends gathered on Myrtle Avenue Wednesday night in front of the home where the stabbing took place to remember Tonette Thomas, 20, who died in the attack. They said she was a good person who died too soon.

Thomas' sister, Shaquasia Thomas, and aunt Gwynn Carter were also stabbed. They're at Albany Medical Center and we're told they're in stable condition.

Michael Anderson, 29, was arraigned Wednesday in connection with the Monday afternoon stabbings. He pleaded not guilty to one count of second degree murder and two counts of attempted murder. He was caught by police Tuesday night at a home on Lark Drive.

Anderson used to date Shaquasia. Family members said he had made threats against the family before. Police said they knew of Anderson because of prior arrests, but not in connection with the family.

Anderson is due back in court on Monday.
