NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Police have released the name of a Plattekill man killed in a hunting accident near Forest Road on Monday.

Town of Newburgh Police say Guy Wensley, 39, accidentally shot his hunting partner, Timothy Evans, 48.

Police say they are still investigating the shooting, but no charges have been filed.

Evans' body was taken to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
