Gloversville police make drug arrest
GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. -- Gloversville police arrested a woman who they say was found with numerous items of drug paraphernalia during a vehicle stop.
Police say Kassandra Vannostrand, 21, also had mushrooms and several small glass jars containing cocaine. They say Vannostrand put up a fight with officers when she was being arrested, and managed to slap and kick one officer in the face.
She was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally possessing a hypodermic needle, harassment and several vehicle and traffic violations.
Vannostrand is being held at Fulton County Jail on no bail.
