Bon Jovi's daughter arrested on drug charges
ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The daughter of rock star Jon Bon Jovi is facing drug charges after police say she overdosed on heroin at Hamilton College.
Kirkland police responded to the call for help just before 2 a.m. Stephanie Bongiovi, 19, was taken to the hospital. We're not sure of her current condition.
Following a search at a Hamilton dorm, Bongiovi was arrested and charged with three misdemeanors and a violation relating to drug possession.
Another student, Ian Grant, 21, also faces a misdemeanor drug charge.
Both Grant and Bongiovi are from Red Bank, New Jersey. They were released pending a future court appearance. Hamilton College says the students' actions violate college policy, and they are cooperating with police.
YNN is reaching out to Bon Jovi's publicist for any comment they may have.
