TROY, N.Y. -- The Rainbow Division has a new commander.

Brigadier General Harry Miller will replace Major General Steven Wickstrom as commander of the New York Army National Guard's 42nd Infantry Division. Wickstrom has led the division since 2009.

Miller has been a deputy commander of the New York Army National Guard since March. He was formally with the New Hampshire guard and on active duty with the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum.
