LATHAM, N.Y. -- CDTA's phase two of restructuring begins for the perimeter of Albany County. This includes later night service and new Sunday service. There are also more "neighborhood routes" offering more crosstown service to areas with high demand.

CDTA hopes to repeat success after phase one, which saw a 15 percent increase in ridership.

CDTA Marketing Director Jonathan Scherzer said, "The way we looked at it was, people were looking for more efficient connections. They wanted service later at night and on weekends. To be able to get farther for their dollar. For example, the routes in Latham here now run seven days a week. The 190 and the 370 used to run six days a week, but now they come later at night and on the weekends."

Bus fare is still a $1.50.
