LATHAM, N.Y. -- A five year vision by CDTA is becoming a reality. CDTA officials announced that service changes for phase two of the Albany County Route Restructuring Project will soon be underway.
CDTA CEO Carm Basile said the changes will affect more than a dozen routes operating throughout the North and West portions of Albany. He said the changes come after several public meetings were held to get feedback from customers and residents.
"It doesn't get more center than this. And Latham Farms, Latham, and the intersections of Route 2 and 7, the Northway form a travel intersection as well. We aligned all of this new service to meet here, to transfer. Outside you will see waiting areas," explained Basile.
Phase two launches on Sunday, November 11. The new CDTA routes will benefit Altamont, Cohoes, Colonie, Green Island, Guilderland, Latham, Voorheesville, and Watervliet.
