LATHAM, N.Y. -- The start of the high school football season is less than two weeks away and Sunday YNN featured the Blue Bison's of Shaker High School.

Shaker had a pretty successful season last year. They made it to the Class AA playoffs only to get bounced by eventual sectional champ Shenendehowa in the first round.

The Blue Bison went 3-2 in the Liberty Division, but just 3-5 overall. The good news is, this year Shaker returns a lot of veteran talent that they hope will lead them back to the playoffs once again.

Shaker opens the season at Queensbury on September 1st.
