GUILDERLAND, N.Y. -- A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized after being hit by a car while riding his bike with friends in the Town of Guilderland.

Police say on Tuesday afternoon, the teenager was riding his bike on the ramp to the Northway off of Route 20 westbound when he pulled in front of a car and got hit. They say the teen suffered a broken femur, but his injuries are non-life threatening.

The driver involved in the crash has not been ticketed or charged.
