Drug sentencing in Liberty
Kareem McFadden, 34
LIBERTY, N.Y. -- A liberty man is sentenced to more than seven years in state prison and two years of post-release supervision after officials said he ran an illegal drug operation out of his house.
According to the Sullivan County District Attorney's office, evidence was found last March during a search of Kareem McFadden's, 34, apartment on Emma Street.
Authorities said McFadden was in possession of more than two ounces of cocaine and $25,000 at the time of his arrest. He admitted to selling drugs since he moved to the area in 2002.
