ALBANY, N.Y. -- Dozens of motorcyclists travel from Queensbury to Albany to deliver a special donation to the Ronald McDonald House. The ride was in memory of Zachary Girard, whose family stayed at the Ronald McDonald House while he was treated at Albany Med after being hit by a car.

One month ago, the True Order Motorcycle Club held a ride to benefit the Ronald McDonald House, and Sunday, they drove to deliver their proceeds, a $2,000 check.

Zachary's father said this donation was important for them to give as a way of saying thank you to the Ronald McDonald House for all they did for their family.

"That's what we do as riders anyway, we give back to our community as much as possible. You read a lot of stuff in the paper about bikers being bad people, but we're not. We're all taking care of our people, our communities, our friends, families, sick little guys," said Leon "Buddah" Girard, Event Organizer.

In addition to the monetary donation, Girard and his motorcycle club also brought necessities and toiletries for the Ronald McDonald House. He also said they will continue to donate in the future.
