Fourth of July celebrations

CAPITAL REGION -- Here's a look at some of the Independence Day Celebrations around the Capital Region this week.

On Wednesday, the Fourth of July celebration at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, starts at 2:00 p.m. with fireworks at dusk, which you can watch live on YNN.

Fireworks in Lake George kick off at 9:30 p.m. at Shepards Park Beach and in Glens Falls the Summer Pops and Fireworks event at Crandalls Park begins at 7:30 p.m. with a show by the Glens Falls Symphony followed by fireworks.

The Tri-City ValleyCats game at 6:00 p.m. in Troy will be followed by a huge fireworks display.

Clifton Park's Fourth of July celebration begins at noon with a parade at Clifton Commons. Fireworks are at dusk.

And in Saratoga, the All-American celebration downtown is a day long celebration starting just after 10:00 a.m. with a road race, live music and fireworks at dusk in Congress Park.
