18-year-old driver charged in Schodack crash

SCHODACK, N.Y. -- The driver involved in a one-car crash that injured several people in Schodack is now facing charges. The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on Route 9J.
According to Schodack police, the vehicle was heading south when the driver, Taylor Woodcock, 18, of Nassau, lost control and went off the road. The vehicle rolled over several times.
The four passengers were ejected from the vehicle, and all five were taken to Albany Medical Center in stable condition.
Police said speed and weather conditions are believed to be factors in the crash.
Woodcock is now charged with four counts of second-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, imprudent speed, moving from lane unsafely, and failure to keep right.
