COHOES, N.Y. -- Three people are being questioned by police in connection to a home invasion in Cohoes.
Police say it happened shortly after midnight Thursday.
Police say a woman knocked on her neighbor’s door on Saratoga Street, allegedly asking to use the bathroom. They say the 86-year-old neighbor let the woman in because he knew her, but she had three other men with her. Officials say the group barged in looking for valuables.
Police searched the area around Main Street for the suspects.
"We have three people that are persons of interests right now. No one has been charged. We are conducting an investigation and like I said, it is just winding down. We are right in the mist of everything," said Cohoes Police Chief William Heslin.
The 86-year-old man was sent to the hospital with unknown injuries.
