Our Elaina Athans is going along for a very special right as 90 Hudson Valley-area World War II veterans take an honor flight to Washington, D.C. It is the first flight in the area under the program, which takes veterans to visit the World War II monument in D.C., as well as to the Arlington National Cemetery. The trip almost did not happen after months of fundraising efforts fell short on the original flight date last month. Luckily, everything is back on track and YNN will be there every step of the way. Look for our exclusive stories coming this week.
