ALBANY, N.Y. -- Local Ronald McDonald House families get to meet some NFL stars in Albany. They got the chance to visit with 11 NFL Hall of Fame players at a charity on Saturday.

Current and past Ronald McDonald House families mingled with the athletes, took pictures and even got autographed posters and footballs. Participants said while many of the kids are too young to remember the players in action, they still light up at the chance to meet them.

"Big smiles on their faces, because they've never seen a pro football player before, more or less the 11 hall-of-famers that are here. So that's a great thing for them to see. They can tell their friends they met 11 hall-of-famers," said Larry Little, event host and NFL Hall of Fame player.

Their Capital Region visit culminates with a golf tournament at the Mohawk Country Club on Monday. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Ronald McDonald House Charity.
