CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. -- Two people are dead after a crash in the North Country. According to State Police, it happened at the intersection of Route 22 and County Route 68 in Cambridge, just before 11:00 PM on Saturday.

Troopers said the driver pulled in front of the motorcycle, which was unable to stop and avoid hitting the car. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their identities are not yet being released but we do know they are a 24-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman.

The driver of the car, whose name is also not being released, suffered minor injuries. Police do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor.
