Girls' lacrosse: Shaker vs. North Rockland

Girls’ state lacrosse playoffs, three games played at UAlbany's John Fallon Field, we start in class A.

Shaker in its first regional appearance taking on North Rockland.

We go right to the 2nd half Blue Bison down 6-5. Julia Lennon with the spin move in front of the cage and she scores to tie it at 6.

On the other end Red Raiders look to answer, Tara Monaghan to Nicolette Bendertoth for the score and North Rockland retakes the lead 7-6.

Blue Bison answer right back, off the free position opportunity Siena bound Lauren Smith shoots and scores and the game is tied at 7.

Less than 10 minutes to go in the game, Anne Rehfuss finds Marissa Hart who scores to give Shaker the 8-7 lead. They add an empty netter late in this one and the Blue Bison are moving on to their first ever state Final Four with the 9-7 win.
