UNITED STATES -- Gas prices dropped slightly each day for a week straight. AAA reports the national average is down to $3.90 today. That's down four cents over last week, but still up nine cents from last month.

Here in New York, we haven't gone the way of the nation yet. AAA's average for the state is up to $4.15 today.

Massachusetts drivers are paying about $3.91, and people in New Jersey are paying $3.79.
