Police: Pair tried to abduct girls
WALLKILL, N.Y. -- Town of Wallkill Police are looking for three people who they say tried to abduct two young girls. Around 10 p.m. Monday, a 14-year-old and 17-year-old were leaving a Cumberland Farms when a dark colored Jeep pulled up alongside them.
That's when police said one man told the girls to get in, otherwise he'd chase them. The two girls ran away, while the car took off on Main Street. Police said there were two men and one woman in the car.
