CORNWALL, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a stretch of the northbound Thruway has reopened after two tractor-trailers crashed in the Hudson Valley.

State Police say one of the trucks ran into the other around 10:30 a.m. Monday. One of the rigs to rolled over onto an embankment along Interstate 87 in the Orange County town of
Cornwall.

Troopers say one person suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. No other information on the crash is available.

Traffic remains heavy and slow between Exit 17 and 16.

Travelers should expect delays and try to find alternate routes.
