SULLIVAN COUNTY, N.Y. -- Hundreds of firefighters from all across the county were on the scene fighting the flames. Officials said just one person, a dorm manager, was inside when the fire broke out, but got out safely.
One fire fighter was injured, but not seriously.
Fire fighters said it could have been a tragedy if the students had been on campus. Fire fighters said the structure was built entirely of wood, which posed another problem getting the fire under control.
