ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany detectives have arrested two people they say stole a couch from a low income housing complex.

Detectives say it happened last Wednesday around 3 a.m. at Catholic Charities on Central Avenue.

They say Calvin Parker, 47, and Derrick Johnson, 46, got into the housing complex using a swipe card they got from a friend.

Detectives say Parker and Johnson walked into the lobby of Catholic Charities and stole a leather couch. They were both identified as suspects through the use of the swipe card.

Parker and Johnson were arrested and charged with burglary and petit larceny.

Both men were arraigned and are being held at Albany County Jail.

Detectives say the couch has been returned to Catholic Charities.
