MASSACHUSETTS -- As voters head to the polls on Tuesday in Massachusetts, one of the hot button issues they will be voting on is physician assisted suicide. Many are referring to it as the "Death With Dignity Initiative". The law would allow terminally ill patients to receive a lethal dose of medication, but only if a doctor determines they have six months or less left to live. If approved, Massachusetts would be the fourth state to make doctor assisted suicide legal, following suit with Washington, Oregon, and Montana. Also on the ballot is whether or not to legalize medical marijuana.

If approved, patients with debilitating illnesses can be prescribed up to a 60-day supply of marijuana from one of 35 dispensaries sanctioned by the state. Massachusetts voters are also deciding on overhaul car repair rules. If passed, auto makers will be required to share diagnostic and repair information with independent mechanics in the state.
